Peer Support Services is a community-based, recovery-oriented service for adults with identified mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Peer Support Services can provide a sense of hope, trust, and understanding to peers. Peer support services are scheduled and structured. Peer Support Specialist specialize in helping peers during a crisis. PSS differs from other services in that individuals in need are paired with peers who have lived experience and are state certified individuals who are stable in recovery from their own mental health or substance abuse issues. PSS listen, provide guidance, and instill hope for recovery based on their own personal experiences. Peer Support allows those seeking recovery the opportunity to learn directly from those who have walked the similar paths.

Individual Support Services are one-on-one services that help those with serious mental illness (SMI) live independently in their community. These services include Instrumental Activities of Daily Living such as teaching and helping people with activities like preparing meals, managing money, and grocery shopping. Helping people choose their home and learn how to maintain it. Helping people retain long-term housing in the community.
Outpatient Therapy is based on clinical need and is available to children, adolescents, and adults for whom it is determined therapy may be an effective means to help learn skills to cope with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and other behavioral issues. Outpatient therapy is a flexible option that can fit into a person's daily life. Individual, family, and group therapy are available and offered in office or virtually.
Comprehensive Clinical Assessment is a screening process that is utilized to assess the overall mental, physical, emotional and social well-being of an individual. The assessment done by ACS is used to identify clinical diagnosis. If a clinical diagnosis is identified, recommendations for mental health services as well as any other wellness services will be discussed.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is a Medicaid service for eligible individuals who need to get to and from medical services when the need does not involve an immediate threat to the life or health, and the individual does not have means of transportation. Having no means of transportation may include not having a working car, not having a driver’s license, having a physical or mental disability, or being unable to travel or wait for a ride alone. ACS works with individuals to verify whether a participant is eligible for NEMT services prior to requesting or scheduling a trip.
